Reservations
Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged. If you are going to make a reservation we suggest doing so at least 3-4 days before the rental date. You can schedule a reservation here on our website by clicking the “Book your rental” button. When making an online reservation you will be required to pay in full. When it comes to the day of your reservation you are required to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to you rental to fill out a liability form, get fitted for lifejackets, etc. This will help get you out on the water at your scheduled time.
Cancellation Policy
If you would like to cancel your reservation please call us at (518)584-1929. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. This means that if you call us 24 hours before your scheduled reservation you will receive a full refund. If you call any later than 24 hours you will not be eligible for a refund. The only exception outside the 24 hour window is poor/unsafe weather conditions.
Our Rules
1- No fishing on our shore- You are only allowed to fish from the bridge. Fishing on our shore is an insurance issue.
2- When we leave so do you- We ask that you adhere to our business hours; when we close you are out of the lake. We are open 7 days a week.
3- Reservations have 45 minutes- If you make a reservation with us you have a 45- minute window to show up. If you don’t show up in that time frame you have the potential to lose your rental.
4- Restrooms- Our indoor restroom is for staff use only. We have a porta potty outside that is available for customers use. It is cleaned regularly.
5- If you break/lose it you buy it- Our equipment can be very pricey so we ask that if you damage or lose any equipment you pay for a replacement.
6- We are not a Park and Ride- If you are launching your own equipment, there is an $10 fee to park for the day and you must leave by closing. When you park in our lot please see one of our staff members.
7- Know your limit- If you are renting from us then you should be familiar with the equipment that you are renting. For example, if you aren’t comfortable with how to use a specific motor, then choose another option. If you are using a battery-operated motor, know that if you buzz up and down the lake multiple times it will quickly run out of battery life and you will probably have to be rescued. If you paddle all the way to Saratoga Lake, be sure you are ready and have the rental time to make the trip back.
8- Drivers Licenses- We are going to start holding onto driver’s licenses from at least one member of your party until your rental is returned.
9- SMILE you’re on candid camera- There are numerous cameras recording on the property.
10- Be safe- Don’t put yourself in a position that puts you, a member of your party or one of our staff members in danger. We want you to have fun and not get injured.
Lastly, we expect every customer to respect our property and equipment. We have a limited supply for our hundreds of customers. We want to ensure that each time someone rents from us, the equipment is in good, safe condition.
